I am always learning new things in addition to mostly learning how much I need God’s grace to fulfill His calling on my life. When everything is quiet around the house, I really enjoy being creative.
Needle and Thread
I love the feel of working with my fingers on a good project with needles. I enjoy knitting, and I love the feeling of hand-sewing a binding to finish a quilt. I’ve never tried hand embroidery or crochet, but I would like to learn. I like to make clothing for the kids. I am in a hurry to learn more because in a few years they will be much bigger!
Graphics for web and print
I have dabbled in logo design and drawing, and I recently became aware of printing custom fabric through Spoonflower and Fabric on Demand.
Web Work
I have tried to keep up a pretty decent amount of web design projects since 2006, but after Shepherd was born it became almost impossible to even meet a simple deadline. I really enjoy coding and designing from scratch and seeing a site come together to help a client. Maybe in the next few years I will do more.
