When I come across something great that helps me grow in my love and understanding of God, or when I see or hear something that helps me be a better wife and mother, I take note and want to share with others. Below is a growing list of my past and current favorites that can be found online.

- Desiring God (online book version) - This is a wonderful thought-provoking study of what the true meaning of Christian hedonism is.
- Stepping Heavenward (online book version) - This is one of my favorite works of fiction. Elizabeth Prentiss takes the reader on the not uncommon journey of female piety and lasting joy.
- Celebrating the Sabbath: Finding Rest in a Restless World - This book reminds and convicts me towards a more purposeful and peaceful Lord’s Day.
- The Quiltmaker’s Journey - This is my second-favorite children’s book of all time. I wasn’t ready and cried like a baby the first time!
- The Farmer - My favorite children’s book of all time. I really like Mark Ludy’s books, and his illustrations are so powerful and memorable, too!
- Heaven - Randy Alcorn hits a home run with this one. It’s worth every minute of reading.
- For Instruction in Righteousness: A Topical Reference Guide for Biblical Child-Training - This book is probably one of the most helpful around our house on a regular basis. The scriptural explanations and passages concerning various sins and blessings of the heart are amazing.
