Tea Farm Cottage Grand Opening
I’m excited to be embarking on a new adventure with Palmetto Handmade. I’m selling some of my products in a local retail shop called Tea Farm Cottage. Deborah, the owner, found me via Etsy and asked if I would like to rent space and be part of the store opening. I am thrilled to have the opportunity, and working with Deborah is very pleasant and fun. She has a beautiful shop with over 50 retailers already stocking the spaces with quilts, jewelry, candles, clothing, art, and all kinds of other handmade creations.
One of my friends, Cindy, is renting a corner with me, and we have had fun grabbing a piece of furniture at a consignment shop for our display, setting up our products, and running around back and forth trying to tag our items and make sure everything is lined up the way it’s supposed to be. It’s a lot of fun, and I can see why people get into small business retail with their handmade products!
If you are down in Lowcountry SC, be sure to drop by Tea Farm Cottage on North Cedar Street in Summerville. You’ll have a great time, but you may not get in and out too quickly! There’s lots of good stuff in there!
